Uses

Bio-Gainers is required to ensure optimal nutritional support for the following cases:

• Cancer patients and after chemotherapy.
• Burns.
• Pre & Postoperative surgeries.
• Kwashiorkor disease (protein – calorie malnutrition disease).
• Marasmus disease.
• Improvement of the nutritional state of malnourished patients.

Bio-Gainers is intended for use in Enteral Feeding (oral – tube).

How to use:

Preparation:

• Unless otherwise prescribed, add 2 tablespoonful or 1 sachet (33g) to 100 ml (small cup) of water or your favorite beverage.
• Stir well with spoon or an electric mixer until completely dissolved.
• For flavor variety: you may add Honey, Sugar or Fruits.
• Once prepared, Bio-Gainers Shake Mix should be used promptly.

Recommended Frequency:

For Hospitalized patients:

• As per Physician or nutrition team recommendation based on patient needs and nutritional status.

For Outpatients in Recovery phase or after Chemotherapy:

• Unless otherwise prescribed, Bio Gainers should be used 1-3 times daily after meals for 1 to 3 months to see maximum beneficial effects.

Storage:

• Store in a cool dry place, below 30C.
• Keep a way from sunlight and direct light.
• Close pouch and box tightly after each use.
• Once opened, use contents within 4 weeks.
• Filled under inert gas.
